Anti-social and Nusiance drivers |
Hi all, We are aware of ongoing concerns raised by local residents regarding anti-social behaviour and nuisance driving in the areas in Anchorsholme area such as Princes Way and Queen’s Promenade. We understand the impact these issues can have on the community, including noise disruption, dangerous driving, and general distress to residents. Officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to carry out patrols and take appropriate enforcement action where offences are identified. What we are doingHow you can help – Operation SnapMembers of the public can assist us by providing evidence of driving offences through Operation Snap, a Lancashire Constabulary initiative. If you witness a moving traffic offence and have dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage, this can be submitted online for review by trained officers. To submit footage, please search “Lancashire Constabulary Operation Snap” and follow the official submission portal. Please see link below: PUBLIC DASHCAM SUBMISSION | Lancashire Investigate | Community Portal We encourage residents to continue reporting incidents, as this helps us build intelligence and target problem areas effectively. We remain committed to addressing these concerns and working with the community to improve safety and quality of life in the area. Your support and cooperation are vital in helping us tackle these issues.
Thank you and I hope everyone is having a wonderful sunny week! | ||
